I used to think that:
1) 'Louie Louie, oh no' was 'Do I? Do I? Oh no...'
and that:
2) 'On through the dead of night, with the four horsemen ride, or choose your fate and die' was 'On through the dead of night, we're the four horsemen right, so lose your faith and die!'
I used to think that the song 'Row, Row, Row You Boat' said "life is pot a scream" instead of "life is but a dream." My da still teases me about that.
Gorrilaz one of my favorites,I thought one part,at the begining "City's breaking down on a camels back" but I heard "santa's breaking down on a camels back" and the repeating part "Windmill,Windmill of the land" I heared "Women,Women on the land

In the Captain and Tennille song "Love Will keep Us Together" I heard:
When those girls start hanging around talking me down
Hear with your heart and your long hair astounding....
instead of : Hear with your heart and you won't hear a sound
and
Young and beautiful
Someday your look so evolved
rather than:
Young and beautiful
Someday your looks will be gone

I used to believe that a song that said "Bye Bye My Baby, Bye Bye" was saying "bye bye my baby ba-ba" My family called bottles ba-bas and when my little sister gave hers away we played that song.
For a long time I thought that 'Milk is silly in Rock and Roll"
This isn't MINE, perse, but it's still enough to make me go into fits of laughter whenever I hear the song:
My friend Hyatt and I were sitting in her room listening to the radio. The Beach Boy's song "Barbara Ann" came on the radio, and Hyatt began singing it phonetically. It didn't sound all that wrong until after the song was over.
"Alistaire? What's a boberanne?"
"I dunno."
"Because I have a theory. A boberanne is a pink flamingo wearing Mardi Gras beads and an ornate feathered-headdress."
".... Good call."
We in the UK had a singer years ago called James who sang a song called Sit Down. I thought the lyrics said: "Sit down if your pleased", it was actually "Sit down next to me."
My dad told me he was in a contest to see who got the lyrics right for 'Blue' by Eiffel 65. My dad told me that his friends said stuff like 'if I were green I would die' and 'i'm so very high' and other stuff! =D LOL!!!!

I used to believe the lyrics in Theory of a Deadman's "No Surprise" were..
"Who would ever think I'd go and end up,
Like all the other guys that you've gone and F***ED!"
its actaully
"All the other guys that you've gone in for"
I thought that in Ride The Wings Of Pestilence by From First to Last was
'I'll drag your body to the ground'.
When actually it was
'I'll drag your body to the car.'
And the same song
'And i'll be a racist'
When it was actually
'As blood races down my arm'
I believed that Justin's line of the song 'Four Minutes' by Madonna was "Keep it up, keep it up, Don't be a Britney, Madonna" referencing Britney's meltdown and how Madonna has to keep on going with her career to avoid a similar fate! I'm still not sure what the real lyrics are.
My sister used to be a big fan of Shakira when we were little...
Mama Mia Toes
There's a manless story (or mandatory- I couldn't tell!)
Underneath your clothes
There's an endless story
Swedish country and pop singer Kikki Danielsson scored a 1986-1987 hit with the song "Papaya Coconut" (which she also recorded once again with Dr. Alban in 1998). I used to belive she sang "Pattaya Coconut", refering to Pattaya in Thailand, famous for it's child sex tourism (Actually it's true that the song lyrics refer to holiday travels to warm places).
