It wasn't until I looked up the lyrics that I found out Offspring's Come Out and Play was about schoolyard violence...

"Kids are stopping (strapping) on the way to the classroom, getting lessons (weapons) with the greatest of ease"
"One goes to the mall (morgue) and the other to jail"

When my younger brother was little, he thought the lyrics from Maroon 5's "She will be loved" weren't "I know where you hide, alone in your car", but "I know where you hide, Bologna your car". XD

In the song "It's a hard knock life" from Annie, I used to believe the song was saying "it's a hard enough life!" I was told a few weeks ago that it wasn't. I'm 16 years old.

I had record called which had "Along Came Jones" by The Coasters on it. There were a few parts where the guy said "If you don't give me the deed to your ranch..." I thought "Deteyor" was the name of the ranch.

I was listening to "Motivation Proclamation" and I SWEAR in the beginning the lyrics are "Is Benji lazy and he's crazy" seriously...

I used to believe, that when you had to sing a song, it didn't matter if you screwed up the lyrics with something you THINK souned like the words, because if YOU thought it sounded like it, everyone else wouldn't notice 'cause it souned similar.

Oh how wrong i was. I found out that is not true after i sang science i walked away from school,
when it should have been SINCE i walked away from YOU.

How embarrasing (sp?)
