When, I was a child I used to think like many children , I would become a famous singer . I was rehearsing to do shows . I thought , when I was singing (especially whith a broom) , that I was recording songs . wich would be permformed at the eurovision or in night clubs . one time i investigatye myself so much that I felt dizzy so I went to the hospital . but as my family can hear sometimes , I ain't an opera singer or anything .

Not a singer @

I used to listen to the back to the future soundtrack. The second track was called, "The Bomb Town," and was by Lindsey Buckingham. I thought she was some pop singer of the 80s. The voice also made me think the same, but after a few years, I saw the movie "Vacation," and the song "Holiday Road" was also by Lindsey Buckingham. I figured it was the same woman. Later I heard she was married to Stevie Nicks, but then I fianlly figured it out...

Lindsey Buckingham was the guitar player for Fleetwood Mac, and HE was married to the singer, SHE was Stevie Nicks.

I used to believe [not too long ago actually xD]that My Chemical Romance boys were about 15-20.
I thought the lead singer, Gerard Way, was the youngest.
...and that he was gay.

[I'm a huge fan now!]

when i was younger my dad used to listen to Don Henley all the time. my brother and i would turn it up and dance around like crazy to the songs he played. we used to ask him, "daddy, will you turn on John Henry?" We seriously thought his name was John Henry. My parents never corrected us. They must've thought it was pretty funny.

When the music video for "Helena" was first aired on MTV, I was so creeped out by Gerard Way that I actually convinced myself that he was a vampire and everybody else in the band were his zombie assistants. I had nightmares about the girl that jumped out of the coffin running after me and screaming: "I vant to suck your blood!" Now, I am older and not as stupid and have become a big fan of My Chemical Romance. Isn't it funny how people change like that?

I used to think that all songs that played on television were pop songs.

So one time when I was chatting on Yahoo Messenger, this person mentioned Puddle of Mudd and told them there's a pop band called Puddle Of Mudd. My brother then corrected me by saying that Puddle of Mudd is a ROCK band.

For some reason, I got Andy Williams and Neil Diamond confused via the songs...then I figured it out via Christmas tunes...

Every time I saw a music video on TV, I thought that the pop stars in that video had jumped into the TV to sing their song, and then when the song was over they would just get back out of the TV and carry on with their lives. I was really confused about how they managed to perform the song in the exact same way every single time, and I always wondered what would happen if I tried to jump into the TV myself.

I truly used to believe that the singer of the German heavy metal band "Sodom", who calls himself "Tom Angelripper" (for he doesn´t seem to like angels) is some kind of Bavarian or Austrian guy and "Angelripper" (sounding kinda like "Schwarzenegger" or "Rockefeller" when you pronounce it German) is a common name in Austria or Bavaria.

When I was little, I saw Micheal Jackson on TV and his nose was all screwed up like it is now, so I thought he was born like that, and I couldn't figure out why people hated him ( I didn't know about the dangling baby) and one day my mom told me that he wanted his nose like that so after that I was mad at him for making people believe that he was born like that to make people feel sorry for him.

when i was a kid my parents sheltered me from a lot: i wasn't allowed to watch the simpsons, friends, etc. i wasn't allowed to watch mtv without fear of getting caught until i was 12. as far as music goes, up until i was about ten my mom had me sincerely believing that bands like Aerosmith just 'got up on stage and screamed.' when i actually heard Aerosmith and hard rock music i went crazy! and i've loved it ever since.
