A long time ago, I had a book on LP (this is when tapes were starting to get more popular) that was a blatant plagurization of "The Little Engine that Could" story. The book was called "Puff 'n Toot," and one of the songs on its record was sung by a cow on the tracks, I think it was titled "Moo-Moo the Cow." I hated this song with such a passion, and my little sister knew this, so any time she wanted to annoy me, all she would have to do was sing this song.
To this day, even hearing this song sends me into a rage! I don't know why!
When i was verry little i used 2 think that when i had a song in my head that i was really hearing it and that it was cos the band was practicing 2 loud
i would actualy complain 2 my mom that the backsteat boys wer practicn 2 lout
the bad part is i b-lvd this till i was like 9 lol
I timed a song once when I was little (2:42 by "one-mississippi, two-mississippi) and thought that all songs were this long.
When I was little, my dad would play Patsy Cline songs all the time. I would sing along, and once he even told me that he thought I was pretty good at sounding like her, so I for a while I thought that I was born to be the next Patsy Cline. I'm still working on that ;)
For the longest time (at age 10 in 1972) and for many years after, I swore that the song "Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," actually performed by the Hollies, had been performed by the Rolling Stones! I could've SWORN this!! (Still, wouldn't it be cool to have the Stones cover this song?! Phish did, in their earliest years and just before they broke up!)
I used to believe when I was a kid that songs were easy to do
Possibly something which makes most sense for European people...We have a very popular contest here called "Eurovision Song Contest", that has been a big tradition since 1956...Local juries vote each year...But before I used to think it was the SINGERS of if song that decided they votes from the country!
When I was kid, listening to Bon Jovi's, "Wanted Dead or Alive," I took the lyric "on a steel horse I ride" literally. I literally thought Jon Bon Jovi had a futuristic robot horse made out of metal, like one of my He-Man figures did.
When I was little i had tookin my moms cd and i was listening to track number 4....which was "lets talk about sex" anyways, i put it in my little portable cd player thing...and we went to a restraunt and i was singing it XDDD it had all these "Grown-up" words in it...my mom was so embarrished....my grandma was like shocked XDDD
When I was 8, I loved (and still love to this day), the song "Lady Marmalade" by Pink, Missy elliott, christina agulera, maya, and lil kim. well, i never knew waht it was about. Well, one day I was interviewing my family at a reunion with a tape recorder, and as I walked around the house looking for someone to interview, I started singing it. So on the tape, you can hear me singing a little of it. oops!

i used to beleive that the song "put me in coach"
was about someone in an airplane wanting to ride in coach. =D
I thought for a long time the singers of "My Boyfriend's Back" were black (don't know how it started...maybe because some singers sound alike to each other), until I saw a music commercial...
I believe the hokey pokey really is what it's all about.
