I used to beleive that the moon was made of cheese. Wallace and Gromit had a big influence on me. (:

I used to believe that a new sun crossed the sky every day and set down into a pile of old suns just over the big hill to the west. They were left to cool off and then sliced up to make margarine.

When I was a kid I believed that the man on the moon got there by being a construction worker. He was laying the last brick on a high rise building and a crescent moon came along and hooked him. He stayed up there because he was too scared to tell his boss he dropped the last brick.
Somewhere out there is an unfinished high rise!
In Mexico, the words "rocket" and "fireworks" can be used as synonymous. So, I USED to believe that fireworks could take us to the outer space and in traditional holidays, (where is common use fireworks), I didn't want to go out to celebrate because I was afraid that these "fireworks" take me to outer space and I wouldn't back to my home.
I used to think that Skyscrapers were what made those white streaks in the sky. I never actually saw one launch, though (for OBVIOUS reasons.)
I used to believe that when I saw the clouds moving in the sky, that it was actually the earth moving.
