I didn't really believe it though.
When I was a child I was scared of thunder and lightning. So my mother told me that it was God bowling, the rumble was the sound of the ball going down the lane and the "crash" was God getting a strike. She never did explain why there was lightning though....
When I was younger, I was deathly afraid of thunder. Well, my mom always told me that it was my Aunt that had recently died and all the angels in Heaven bowling.
I used to belive that god was bolwing and every time thunder hit god got a stike
my parents told me a comforting story about thunderstorms when I would get the spooks. They said that was God and the angels bowling up in heaven...when lightning struck, someone got a "strike". LOL!

My sister told me that thunder was God bowling, and rain was the audience (the angels) clapping. She said the big, loud thunder claps were when He got a strike and when it rained harder, the audience was cheering Him on to hit a strike.
