Factories make clouds
This section contains beliefs all on a common theme: Factories make clouds. Show most recent or highest rated first or go back to weather.Near my city, Cleveland, there is a huge factory that creates massive ammounts of polution and smoke. It spews out of this large pipe outside of a building constantly. I always thought that was what made the clouds. I talked to my boyfriend about it and he thought the same thing when he was young.
At a mere three years of age, I knew all about how clouds are made. There are several factories near my hometown that have giant smoke stacks, which billow with smoke pretty much all day long. That, of course, is where clouds come from. The "clouds" come out of the pipes of the "cloud factory" and float away into the sky. :)
When my sister Elsa was little, whenever we drove past the power plant, where there was always smoke coming out the smokestacks, she thought that the power plant was the "cloud factory", and that was its sole purpose was to make clouds, otherwise there would be none.
i live near a chemical plant with two cooling towers (which always have steam coming out of the top), and when i was younger i used to think that the purpose of the factory was to make clouds. i also thought that aeroplanes were responsible for making clouds.
I used to believe that large industrial complexs were factories to manufacture clouds and that the chimney stacks were made so tall so the baby clouds could reach the sky.
My dad works at a paper mill, so they have a giant steam-stack. Up until I was about 5 or 6, I thought that the steam-stack made clouds, because they looked like it. I was so dumb.
When i was little my parents used to tell me that the factory chimneys that had all the smoke coming out of them were cloud-makers.
They said when the clouds are white, it makes the day nice but when the clouds are grey, it's going to rain and storm.
I was always a bit worried when there were grey clouds that it would rain too much, the world would fill up with water and we'd all drown.
As far as i know that hasn't happened yet.
As a child i was under the impression that the huge power station chimneys were cloud makers.
I had my younger brothers believing that clouds were made by the power generation plant close to our town... the plant released steam continually.
I grew up in a mining town that had huge smokestacks at the smelter that were visible for miles around. I used to believe that these smokestacks were what made clouds.
I have a paper mill in my town that is constantly emitting clouds of smoke. I told my little brother that it was a Cloud Factory and that they had giants in there who ate baked beans and farted out the clouds in the sky.
When I was little I lived close to a nuclear power plant which had these enormous cooling towers. One day we drove past it and there was all this white smoke coming out of the huge chimneys. My mum told me it was where they made clouds and I believed it until I was like, ten or something!
i used to believe that powers station cooling towers were where the clouds came from
I used to belive that clouds are made in a factory!
I told my kids that the huge chimneys at the power station were cloud machines. Travelling past one day, the sky was blue and the first chimney wasn't smoking (strange coincidence?), but a few miles up the road and the sky began to cloud over. You guessed it, the second chimney was smoking. So, my little story became their belief, until I fessed up and told them the truth!
This actually was a belief of my brother's that when I was a kid, I thought was true. My dad works at a power plant, and my brother, in preschool said his daddy worked at a cloud factory. after hearing my parents say this story over and over I started to believe them.
As a child I use to think that factory that billowed white smoke were making clouds.
I used to think that the smoke coming from the factories were actually making clouds
i used to think the pulp mill was a cloud maker and later i thought it was a cheezie maker
When i was little i use to think that the factory with smoke coming out use to be a cloud factory and this was how clouds were made.
