There is a factory in my town that emitts a lot of white steam. Everytime my family would drive by, my sister and I would exclaim "Look! It's the cloud factory!" We really believed that the factory made clouds.

When i was about 5-6, i thought factories expelling white smoke were making clouds for a sunny weather while factories producing black smoke were producing rain clouds and would cause the rain to come soon. It never occured to me that different factories come out with different coloured smoke. I thought it was according to the weather they wanted that day. So i would pretty disappointed if i didn't want it to rain but saw a factory producing black "clouds".

I am a teen now. But when I was very young I believed the Hess stations (when the white smoke or fumes come out of it) were simply making clouds. I used to always stare at it in awe. To this day I don't know what that white puffy stuff coming out of it is. I sound foolish when I say so, but hey, nobody ever told me.

I used tho believe the the local Masonite factory, that gives off tall plumes of white steam, was the cloud factory where they made the clouds. I am currently 13.

It's actually my sister's belief. Until recently (she's 20) she thought that all chimneys and smokestacks were cloud makers. She's silly.

sometimes my family would drive by big factories with pollution billowing out of them. i thought they were cloud factories, and whenever there was a drought, they'd just produce some clouds, so it would rain!
