Trees make the wind blow

When I was very young I used to believe that trees created wind. It seemed only logical since they move when the wind blows.

I thought the wind was caused by the trees. When it was windy, the trees where moving back and forth.. like our ocillating fan, plus the made the noise..like our fan. Made sense to me at the time, lol.
