I used to believe that if it was raining, it was raining all over the world at the same time!
When I was like 5 or something, I used to be afraid of the snow. The first time it snowed, I was scared to walk on the snow cause I thought If I did, I would fall down past the snow into no where cause I thought the grass was gone. I would walk slowly and be scared, thinking soon I would fall deep down. My dad soon told me that I wouldn't disappear in the snow.....
It often rained when I walked home from school and I would get drenched. However I wouldn't have got so wet if I hadn't beleived that the faster I walked the faster (and more) that rain fell. I would walk really slowly believing that the rain would would virtually stop. Sadly, at 21, I still catch myself slowing down if it starts to rain!

When I was little, my older cousin lead me to believe that when it rained, someone had made God upset, and he was crying! And when it snowed, for some reason, God was tearing up his bed-sheets!
When I was a child, I used to lie on the hill behind our house and watch the steam engine trains go through the valley, and the big puffs of black smoke form dark clouds. I believed that is how all dark clouds were formed and argued with the teacher (and everyone else) about it. I KNEW, because I saw it.

When i was little, a class mate of mine told me that i would go blind if a snowflake hit me in the eye. Consequently i spent most of my younger years walking around with my eyes closed if it was snowing. I missed out on a lot of good snowballs fights and get severe reprimands from my parents as a result of this!!
When I was little I used to love snow and I made myself believe that if I looked outside when it was snowing, the snowfall would stop. It happened once and I told my mum about it. She said it was just a coincidence, but I am still reluctant to watch the snow fall... and I am 23...
i used to believe that if the weather man said that there would be freezing fog that i would walk into the fog and knock myself out on the freezing fog??
When the weather was bad outside, I used to copy what I thought my dad was saying, and say "let's go out and brave the elephants", instead of elements.
When I was a kid I was always told that God is in heaven. Of course I then drew the conclusion that if he is there he also sleeps there. So I used to think that when it rained it was God who peed in his bed during sleep.
A friend of my parents was visiting when I was about 5 years old. It was raining outside and he had been out jogging. My mother remarked that he was barely wet from the rain, and he said jokingly that he had been running zigzag between the raindrops. I didn't get the joke, and for at least a year (maybe a few years) I thought it was actually possible to run in the rain and not get wet by running zigzag.
When we was young there was a belife that the Nothern Light would take you away i you where dressed in white or used somthing with the color white. At cold days during the winter in nothern Norway you see the Nothern Light. So every time it was cold and clear weahter we become so afraid that we did not leave the house, or kept us so close to the house as possible. If we were outside we ran back to the house as fast as possible when the nothern light was seen in the sky.
When I was younger, I thought my dad could tell the future because he would say its gonna rain tommorrow and it would. Little did I know, is that he saw the news and the weatherman....
