My next door neighbor told me that if the wind blew, trees would fall down. Low and behold it began to get windy, and we freaked out and ran inside.
I thought Weathermen said "Windshield temperature" not "Wind-chill temperature" on those cold bitter days, and was convinced this was the temperature of the air when traveling down the road.
When I was about three, I used to believe that the rain was caused by Jesus' peeing down on the earth!

My brother, when he was little, was CONVINCED that 1) if the sun was out, it was warm, and 2) it wasn't winter unless there was snow on the ground.

once i asked my uncle what clouds were made of. i always asked him because i thought he was the most intelligent. up until a 2nd grade hiking trip i believed that clouds were made of cotton candy. imagine my dissappointment when i got to the top and couldn't eat the cloud.

my dad told me that when it rained god had a leak in his faucet so my dead grandpa would fix it because he was a plumber.
When I was little I used to believe that rain was invisible and that only certain people could see it. I thought I was so special and was upset when I told my mum I could see rain but didn't get much of a reaction lol
When I was outside playing and the sun would seem to go behind the clouds, I used to think that the sun's mommy was calling him inside to get a drink of water because it was so hot outside. And when it reappeared, it came back out to play.
