There's a popular book in Poland called "Mr. Kleks Academy". It's a bit Potter-ish to say the truth: the Professor, Mr. Kleks teaches his young and eager students how to fly a carpet or understand the speech of dogs. When I was young I desperately wanted to attend the school some day. Unfortunately, only those whose name started with "A" had a chance to take part in this ecceptional educational adventure.

My parents gave me the name of Michael. At six, it caused me to fall apart from them a little :)

Now, when I'm 19 I come to realise that I shouldn't have quarelled with them... My second name is Antony :)

When I was younger I got a lot of things mixed up. For example, I walways got confused with Al Gore and Bill Clinton, in terms of who was who. I also got mixed up with Chicago and Detroit.

I used to believe people's nicknames were actually their names. I knew people with names like Peaches, Nena, Chabella, Cisco. There are people whose real names I never even knew. I remember one guy who must be in his late 50's now who was always called Baby.

I used to think I was the only person in the world with the name Jessica Pauley and the initials JP. When Jurassic Park came out, I thought it was so neat that we had the same initials!

My dad's a farmer, and so we have CB's in our tractors. He always used to say "Hey you!" over the radio to someone else, and I actually thought someone's name was HeyYou. It didn't help that he told me someone WAS named HeyYou...but later on he said he was pulling my leg. I was so broken hearted...

I once thought of most names in the world, there were three people with that name, one who goes to school, one who doesn't go to school, and one who is an adult. But for rare names there was only one person with that name.

My parents have an old family friend named Laurette. When I was a tyke, I always got her name mixed up and called her "Roulette". It took me years to get it right. One day, while joking about my old habit, she thanked me for, "Comparing me to a gambling table!"

I used to tell everyone my name was Nancy (it isn't even close). Later, when people would ask her how Nancy was doing, she'd just give them a blank stare and ask, "who?"
They always thought she wasn't all there or something, until the day she realized what I was telling everyone, and started setting them straight.
