When my next door neighbor and I were about 6 & 7, I asked her to ask her mom how babies were made & was very interested because my own mom said I was 'too young to know'. Her mom told her that the daddy feeds the mommy a seed. So after much thought on this, I determined that the mom was fed her seed from a pouch inside the dads cheek when they were kissing open-mouthed!

Well, I'm pretty practical so when I was younger, around 6 or 7 I guess, I knew that boys had a part that stuck out and girls had a hole and that there was something called sex that had to do with both parts. I knew that pee came out of the part of boys that sticks out so I assumed that if a boy peed in a girl that would make a baby. I started to get a little worried after that, every time I peed I thought I was probably supposed to be doing something else instead of just throwing it away in the toilet. I finally told my mom at some point and she gave me a more accurate explanation.

I always thought that women just had babies. No men or sex involved, babies just came at random times. That explained why the neighbor woman had a kid, but no husband, and why people were suprised when babies came. Made sense to me!

when i was little i had a childrens bible (you know, easy to read, censored, pictures.) Anyways, the children's bible refered to sex as "lying down with eachother". When i read about a woman being forced to "lie down" with a man, i'm all "That's not a punishment!". Then it said, "She soon gave birth to 14 children" I was worried cuz i used to lay next to my mom all the time!

still kinda worried

I used to think that a boy had to touch a girls arm to get the girl pregnant. My Best Friends Brother was lifting me on to a ride so i thought i had got pregnant.I was about 5 or 6 when it happene.I announced to everyone that i was pregnant and when i told my mum she just about peed herself laughing.I've learned the real way now though.Unfortunatley. ♥

When I was fairly young (quite possibly four or five), I was fortunate enough to have a fairly good scientific grasp on how reproduction occurred - at least, as far as the sperm and the egg went. Exactly when and how this happened, I wasn't quite sure - but my personal theory was that while the soon-to-be parents were sleeping in the same bed, they somehow gravitated toward each other, and while sleeping, did something that caused conception. Exactly what this 'something' was, I really didn't know.

I thought that babies were made when adults hugged and kissed in bed. I got that from watching "Marley and Me"...

From the ages of 12 to 14, I believed that if I were bad, God could make me pregnant as punishment. I was terrified I'd become pregnant for just thinking bad thoughts, and my family would think I had sex. I always wondered how I would explain to them that I didn't have sex, I was just impregnated by God like the Virgin Mary. I don't know why I believed this, I knew how babies were made, and I wasn't religious, but the idea just popped into my head one day and stayed there. I had some crazy ideas back then...

When I was a child, I used to believe that women had seeds in their stomachs.
When a seed sprout, the belly grew and that meant the woman was pregnant and expecting a child.
