getting pregnant

When I was about 7 or 8 I liked this boy. Once we were at church and I chased him and kissed his shoulder. Then on, I thought I was pregnant. I remember thinking for over a year that I was going to die because I was only a little kid and now I hated the boy.

When I was little I asked how women got pregnant and my mother gave me the medical book which said that the man puts his penis in the woman's vagina. However, erections were not explained. As every penis I had ever seen pointed down, I decided that you probably had to go to the doctor, and the doctor would insert the penis in the woman's vagina. I totally did not associate this with having sex, which was what people did when they were in love, until I saw an erect penis.

I used to believe that a woman would get pregnant if she sat on toliet seat after a man had forgot to raise the seat up and left urine on it. I honestly thought that until I was about 16. Talk about naive! :)

i used to think that you could become pregnant if you swallowed during oral sex- that somehow the sperm would live inside you, get peed out, and make it's way into your vagina when you peed. i know, it's ridiculous!

When I was little, I thought that when girls reached a certain age they had to take a birth control pill every day or they'd become pregnant...

Then it scared me, because I thought that when I became old enough, the only way I'd know would be I'd be pregnant cuz for not taking the pill... This was cleared up one night when I asked my mom if she had remembered to take her pill!

When I was young I recall knowing that you had to insert your penis into a woman's vagina to get pregnant. The part I had wrong was that I thought you had to urinate inside her to make a baby!!

When I was younger, I believed that a man made a woman pregnant by putting his hand on her belly. I also asked my mom once if a woman could have a baby without being married. When she said yes, I got confused. Until I was 9 or 10, I thought that all girls had babies when they became adults!

when i was little i used to believe that the only way a woman became pregnant was if god decided it so. so i used to pray at to god at night that i didnt want to have a baby.

i was quite the hypochondrica...until i was pretty much 15 i believed everytime i got a stomach ache or felt naucious in the morning i was pregnant...i would like...be worried about that for weeks and kept pestering my mom about it til she almost kicked me outta the house

I used to believe that when you got married, God automatically gave you a baby. I once had a friend who was a little older than I was and we got into this discussion while playing with our Barbies... I told her that Barbie couldn't have a baby because she wasn't married to Ken, then she told me that I was wrong and that all they had to do was have sex! I couldn't believe it! Trying to prove my friend wrong, I asked my mom to tell my friend what she had told me all my life about babies. My mom was very embarrassed.
