i used to believe that when two people got married, that when the man put the ring on the woman's finger, it made a baby begin to grow in her stomach then i thought the baby came out of the bellybutton so the mother had to pour food through her bellybutton to feed the baby while she was pregnant...

When I was perhaps about 7 or 8 years old, I thought that when women got married they instantly became pregnant, and so I figured that all I ever had to do to keep from getting pregnant was to never get married.

As a small child I believed that when you got married you instantly became pregnant (this probably had something to do with being raised amongst mormon family who always popped out at least one immediatly after getting married).

I used to believe that as soon as a woman got married, she automatically got pregnant, and that the man putting the ring on her finger was what caused the baby to be conceived, so if the couple wanted another baby, the man would have to buy the woman another magic ring and put it on her and then she'd be pregnant.
