When I was younger, I thought the sperm traveled in the mouth of a women when kissing, but soon I found out that it wasn't true
I used to believe that my mother would have another baby whenever a man would give her a kiss. During the holidays relatives would visit, and as they entered the house, give my mom a kiss on the cheek. I remember thinking "oh no!" here comes another brother or sister.
This is all funny to me these days.
I used to hang out with this boy who lived next door to my family. He was the same age as myself and we called each other "boyfriend and girlfriend" a lot. Anyway, we were about the age 8 or 9 when we started "playing house"... One time he kissed me on the cheek and told me he would be home late for work on one of the house playing games. I remember freaking out for about a week thinking he got me pregnant...only because I used to think "kissing" made babies.

When I was little, I saw the episode of "I Love Lucy" in which Lucy is giving birth. As Lucy and Ricky are in the hospital, Ricky's sitting on the bed next to his wife, acting all happy and joyful, and they kiss. Then the nurse walks in and says something like, "No kissing. That's what got you into this mess in the first place." This lead me to believe that you got pregnant by kissing. Only for a short while, however, after which I forgot about it.

When I was in 6th grade I kissed a boy and thought that I would get pregnant.
When I was about 6 I thought babies were made when couples kissed each other in the mouth. One time a friend of my class was talking to me and a bit of saliva flew from his mouth and landed on mine. I spent 2 days afraid that I was pregnant and that made me find the courage to ask my grandmother how the babies were really made! I was relieved.

I was 12 years old at the time......and that was back in 1960. I got frenched kissed by a boy in the Tunnel of Love at an amusement park. I was so upset. Eventually through much prodding, I finally told my mother and blurted out "I'm pregnant!"
It was a different time - different era and sex was spoken in whispers. Even parents didn't say much to their kids about sex. My how things have changed - and I love it!!

I used to think that sperm travelled up through the mouth! so, the man and women wud be kissing, and the sperm wud go from the mans mouth into the womens, and into he womb. (i was a bit stupid!)
I thought several for several years, women got pregnant only by kissing (through saliva)
