I thought that babies WERE in your stomach for 9 months, then you just lifted up your shirt and the baby would just be there and you would go oh look the baby came out!

I used to believe that blue babies were babies who held their bereath too long. My best friend told me she and her dad were born blue, her sister was purple and her mom was green. I looked at baby pics of myself and told her I was pink.

I'm sure I'm not the only one but when I was little I believed that mothers gave birth to girls and fathers gave birth to boys.

I used to think that when I had a stomach ache, i was going to give birth. I would sit on the toilet and hoping the baby would be a boy. Sadly, all I got was a brown poop.

you know when a woman is pregnant, sometimes her tummy button sticks out, I used to belive that you pushed the tummy button when the baby was ready to come out

Like many people, I thought that babies were born through the belly button.
So one time, when I was 5, I went swimming with my best friend. She had this sort of two piece tankini swimsuit, and I could clearly see her belly button. I was horrified to note that it was an outie.
I took her aside to break the news to her. I grimly informed her that she could never have children.
Her mother chided me for causing her to break into tears for no reason.

I used to think that natural baby birth meant that the baby came out of the mother's belly button, and a "c-section" meant that they had to cut open the mommy's tummy to get the baby out [at least I had half of it right]! At one point when I was younger, I actually asked my best friend's mother if my friend had come out of her belly button or if they had to do a c-section.

When my brother was born and I was 2, my parents gave me a puppet, telling me it was from my brother, so I would like him and wouldn't get jealous. I thought the puppet came out of my mom's belly, along with my brother!

once when I was little I saw a woman who had a hump on her back. I don't know why I came to this conclusion, but I thought that she was pregnant and the baby would come out of her butt and the baby was living in her back.
