I used to think doctors cut a lady's bellybutton out to get the baby and sewed back in, until now......:}

I always heard that babies "grew inside a woman's stomach". Naturally, I assumed that meant they were born out of your belly button. What other function could it have?
I used to believe that my pregnant mother would unzip her tummy to change the baby's diaper, completly logical right?

For the longest time I thought that a "C section" was a section of the hospital that was reserved for women who were giving birth.

I thought you had to get a license in order to be a parent (which acutally might not be a bad idea!)
So me and my cousin are like 2 weeks apart and when we were little we used to argue on how a woman gave birth... She thought women through up babies and I thought they pooped them out, after a long arguement we then settled on babies come out the belly button till later when my older brother told us we were wrong...
My mom told me that I once asked her if we could buy a baby from a store. I was an only child and wanted a brother/sister.
When I was young I thought baby's came from storks. So when my brother was being born I asked my mom (after he was born) "Did the stork come?" She looked at me and nodded. I think I got that idea from Dumbo....

I used to think they cut the mom open, put the full-size baby in, waited nine months and then cut the mom open again to get the baby out.
When I was a VERY young child, I used to believe that babies breathed through their mothers' belly buttons when they were in the womb.
Then when I got a little older, I thought the imbilical cord was their air supply and they wore it on their faces like a fighter pilots mask.
Again when I got older, I thought babies could read their mothers' minds while in the womb.
I used to believe babies came out of the belly button.
I used to believe babies were born through your bellybutton and thats why giving birth hurt so much.

I am a triplet, and my parents had told us pretty early where babies come from. So when I was very little, I used to believe, even though I couldn't remember it anymore, that inside my mother's stomach it was like in a red cave with tiny furniture. I though that my sibblings and I had lived in there until it got so cramped that the doctors took us out.
I used to believe babies were born with clothes on
When I was younger I was convinced that since I was a girl the next baby my mom would have would be a boy, just to keep it even. Needless to say when my mom got pregnant and had a girl I was in complete shock and confusion. In my anger I yelled at her to return it for a new one, I guess I thought you could make exchanges, and then threw the telephone to the ground.
Babies were born out of the mother's belly button
I used to believe that I was born from an egg and would wonder if I had a hard time pecking put of my egg
I used to believe that a baby is born from the stomach and the only way it would come out was by pooping.
