when i was little my mum told me that babie are born through a little hole in your tummy. i looked at my own tummy and the only little hole i could find was my belly button so i assumed that babies were born out of your belly button. but what i didnt understand was how that big baby inside you could squeeze out of a tiny little hole. it was in y3 i found out that i was thinking of the wrong hole. lol! *smacks head*

i thought that babies came out of the same hole girls peed out of. therefore, i thought it was possible to get pregnant via oral sex. i actually believe this until i was really old, as in, 13 or 14! my friends laughed and laughed at me when i told them.

when my mom was pregnant with my sister i was 3 years old and i was really scared becasause i thought my mom was dying cuz i could hear her screaming from the delivery room.

when i was a kid i used to think 'labour day' was a day that every mother gave birth on. then i got confused as to how people had different birthdays. so i decided that 'labour day' was a day to celebrate child birth. it wasn't til i was about 8 before i realised what labour day actually was.

I used to believe, as a very small child, that babies came out of a trap door hidden in the mother's back. You couldn't see it, because skin covered the button to pop it open, and only the doctor knew where it was...yeesh...

After my mum gave me the sex talk and told me all about giving birth, I used to think that when you're pregnant you could think you're about to have the baby and it could end up being you just have to poo. I always tried to imagin the look on the doctor's face when he had poo in his hands instead of a baby...

When I was little I thought babies came form the rear end. I didn't find out where they actually come from until i was in seventh grade.Very sad.

I used to believe that when a woman was pregnant her stomach would eventually burst and the babies would go flying. I must have practiced for hours, passing a ball around with my sisters, when I found out that my mom was pregnant!

I thought I had been given a pretty decent description of the birds and bees and childbirth as a child until I discovered at the age of 21 and the birth of my first child that the umbilical cord did not retract after being cut and was not a reusable part of our anatomy!

o.k. up untill i was about 7 or 8 i believed that when a woman had a baby it came out of her mouth.....so whenever my mom yawned i thought she was opening up her mouth so she could have another baby and i ran into my room crying

As a child I believed that a woman birthed her babies through her mouth. I was very concerned as to how a mother could breathe as she was pushing a baby out of her mouth. Thankfully, my mother cleared this up for me (after chuckling a while over my misconception).
