I used to believe that sperm were some kind of aerosol solution and that you could make someone pregnant by standing too close to them at the wrong time. Thank you Catholic School Sex-Ed........
My mother told me I wasn't planned, but she was afraid to take birth control because in her youth, she believed that for ever pill taken you were killing a baby that was already inside of you. ^_^

When I was little my brother used to tell me I was a test tube baby. At school when people would ask me who my parents were, I would tell them I didnt have parents because I was born in a test tube. I believed this until I was 10.

when i was little my grandad told me that all babies were bought at shops.
so one time we were on the bus and he pointed to a shop with a child in the window,( which was most probably a toy shop ) and then he said "we bought you there " i totally believed him and told all my mates at kindy.

Until I had my first ejaculation, I just assumed that sperm swam out of the penis gradually throughout sex. When I had my first ejaculation I thought I was hideously ill! I thought I had cancer in my penis and some "cancer pus" had come out.

When i started at school as a five year old I was very precocious as I could already read well etc. I had read all about sex and so proceeded to tell all the otyher kids how babies were made. Although it was the truth not a single one believed me and my friend Martin told me there was no way his mum would have let his dad do anything like that.

i thought you could pick the colour baby that you had. This was cos for years when i was naughty, my mum used to say "pack-it-in or we will take you back. We wanted a black one anyway, but we got you instead"!!!

i used to believe that when your mother was pregnant, you were in her stomach, and in order to feed you when you were in there, you just ate whatever came down. i had this really vivid picture of my mum eating oranges and a foetal me gobbling up all the segments.

My brother told me the bare fact about reproduction (penetration) and it sounded so complicated that I figured the man and woman had to go to a doctor to get the thing done. They would stand facing each other and then the doctor would carefully guide the man's penis into the woman. There would be a very professional medical quality to all of this and great embarrassment for the man and woman...but it was the only way.

I used to believe that 'girl' sperm were pink and 'boy' sperm were blue, so that if a pink sperm got to the lady's egg first the baby would be a girl etc. This was after a very colourful sex education film at school. I believed this until a worryingly advanced age.

I used to believe that my mother found me in my grandfather's garden and the funny thing is she didn't tell me otherwise until I was about 8 years old.

I used to believe that all girls had a small baby in their tummy just waiting until they got married where it would begin to grow and eventually be born. The reality is much more fun!!

told a friend of mine that white mens sperm was white, black mens sperm was brown and oriental mens sperm was a kind of off green yellow colour.... she still believes it to this day.
