When I was little, my dad would take me with him when he videotaped high school football games for the district. For some reason, I thought that football players couldn't talk. Boy was I startled when one of them came up to us and started to talk to me!

When i was a child i absolutely HATED sports and physical education. Now, my mother had told me about the Vietnam war and how there was a draft and any male over 18 could be called upon to fight and if they refused, they would be imprisoned.
So when i heard there was an NFL draft and an NBA draft, i thought it was the same idea, with the draftees selected at random amongst the general populace. I was so scared that when i turned 18, i was going to be selected and i would be forced to either play major league sports or rot in prison.
top belief!
i used to think that the highest number a football player had on his jersey was how many players were on the team; i was wondering why they needed to pay so many extra players when none of them substituted in. i looked for all the numbers in between!
I assumed that if a football player was hurt badly enough to have to leave the game, their team would get to win automatically--it seemed only fair.
I thought break dancing involved actually breaking stuff!
I used to think that bowling pins were arranged in a straight line, due to the angle at which you could see them at the end of the lane.
top belief!
Up until I was twelve, I used to wonder why there were so many baby prams at the golf club. Years later I discovered that they were golf carts.
top belief!
I used to think there was a platinum medal in the Olympics that was better than a gold medal. (I still kind of wonder why there isn't one)
When I was younger I used to believe that to be a football player you had to have huge shoulders. Years later I found out they had shoulder pads!
When watching Football, you'd always see a player on the phone.........I always thought they were there so players could talk to their mom or dad while the game was going on.
I used to think a good way to solve the worlds problems was to have a massive soccer game that would settle the issue once and for all.
