I always beilieved when I was young that every time you would do your buisness it would go down the pipes and add to a giant monster made of poop and pee. Somtimes my mom would have to take me to the docter cause I had held my poop in for days..... If the toilet would ever flood that ment that the poop monster was big enough to come and get me. But when the plunger was pulled out i thought I was safe because I thought thhey were the only things that could fight it. Occasionally I would drag the dirty plunger around the house just to feel safe.
i used to believe that if i fell in the toilet i would turn into a goldfish and someone would flush me down the toilet. so i used to make my mom hold my hand whenver i went...in fear i would fall in
When I was little I used to think I should only go to the loo when I was really ready and not sit on the loo for too long as I thought a witch would come up the toilet and tickle my bum with her long nails if I sat for too long!
top belief!
I used to be afraid of the bottle of Vanish toilet cleaner my babysitter kept in her bathroom. I thought it was some sort of magic solution that would make anything Vanish, even me if I accidentally got some on myself.

When I was about 7 years old I loved the T.V show " Sailor Moon " I dont know the idea cam to me but I was Afraid that the bad people from the show , particularily the scary witch with flaming red hair , lived in my toilet , I thought that after standing up from the toilet i had only untill the toilet stopped flushing to wash and dry my hands , AND run from the bathroom screaming or else she would rise up from the toilet and grab me so she could pull me back in and make me become her slave !!!
I used to believe that the black hole in the toilet would get mad if u didnt poop. So when i didnt id cry and think the toilet hole was out to get me. I still watch my back!!
The film arachnophobia had a lasting effect on me. Up until the age of about 12 I would check behind the toilet every time I went in case there was a big spider there waiting to bite my bum.
For a few years, I think from about -10years old, I was always scared that there was a skeleton down my toilet. Disgustingly, if my wee or poo were big r smelly enough it wouldn't come up and touch/bite my bum. This always made sure I closed the lid and flushed the toilet though, lol.
After you flush a toilet the reservoir fills up again, making a loud "hooooowwwwwaaaaaahhhhhhhrrrrr" noise. I used to think when it was making that noise I should never sit down on it because then te water would rise up to my butt and make it wet while I was sitting. I still have troubles ONCE IN A WHILE...
i used to think that unless i got out of the bathroom before the toilet water stopped running a monster would come out and get me.
when i was little i had only saw this one documentary thing on tv and it said that lots of people had baby alligators as pets, when they got too big they would flush them down the toilet...
whenever i had to use the toilet i would be too afraid that an alligator would come up through the pipe thing and bite my butt off it scared the shizz out of me!!
i saw ghostbusters 2 when i was 5 or 6 and i used to believe that the pink slime that came out of the bathtub facuet in the movie would come up out of the toilet and get me when i flushed. so i would pull one of the "flush and run" routines whenever i went pee. i still get laughed out by my family. (10 years later)
When I was young I would always hear the sound that the toilet would make and I thought that it was a monster. So everytime i would flush the toilet i would turn and run. I eventualy grew out of it when my mom explained what it really was.
when i was a kidi had watched an episode of the X-files.. and there was like a mummy guy and he ived in the sewer. and i thought he was gonna get me when i had a bath.. and i also thought he would get me if i didnt look at the toilet after i flushed.. so when i washed my hands i would stare at it through the mirror..
This kind of backs up the guy tht was scared of the loo and had to get his mother to take him in for the next four weeks. in my case i watched an episode of the x-files called "Host" and in it there was this sucker face guy that bit your arse while on the loo and killed you by putting worms in you. this scared me for ages and i was so scared to sit on the loo i hovered over it for months. i also told my friend simon about it and he did the same. got he was mingin.
When I was younger I saw on the news that a python came through the sewer and out of someones toilet. I was scared that it would happen to me so before going to the bathroom I would flush the toilet first and hurry up and go before it finished flushing so if there was a snake down there it would get sucked down untill i left. crazy huh?
When i was about 8 i used to believe that if i went to the toilet when it was dark outside, that if i flushed the chain a werewolf would come and attack me. I would either not flush or flush and run for my life.
Thankyou so much to the lovely lady who bought me a story book about werewolves for christmas.
I used to hate flushing the loo and i have no idea why. I would do my stuff then i would unlock the door, open it, wash my hands, flush the loo then run as fast and as far away as i can. It wasnt just my flushing i was scared of. I was scared of anyone else flushing it. When ever i heard it being flush i would go turn into a physco child and run like mad.
Thankfully i can now flush the loo and not run away like a maniac although i do still do it sometimes at public loos.
