when i was like 4 or 5, im 13 now, i used to be scared of the toilet after i saw the movie "IT". i thought blood would come out and turn into the evil clown thing

When I was younger I used to think that there was a severed hand in the toilet because I watched this show where these college students stole one from a science class to play a prank on their friend. I still check the inside of the toilet before I sit down just incase.

I was about 6 years old when the movie Jaws came out. I was so terrified of sharks after seeing it, that I thought if I sat on the hopper too long, a shark would bite my butt. This went on for years, but gradually the fear faded........until I saw Orca!

I believed that snakes that lived in the water system could come out through the toilet bowl
when I peed. In order to prevent them from surfacing I filled the bowl with toilet paper. Once I filled the bowl so much that I caused a flooding when I flushed. Boy, was daddy mad or what.

i used to believe that if you sat on the toilet for too long you would fall in and you would have to live in the toilet forever my older brothers girlfriend told me this i used to be petrifeid of toilets.

I've always been afraid that Hannibal the Cannibal was in the sewers, and that he would eat your butt if you sat on the toilet too long. This is partly due to seeing The Silence of the Lambs and cartoons where alligators were in the sewers at a young age and getting them confused.

I used to think that whenever I flushed the toilet it turned evil or released a monter or something.
after I'd used the toilet, I'd go unlock the door and open it so I could get out quickly and then I'd stand as far away from the toilet as I could while I quickly flushed it. Then I'd run from the bathroom as fast I could. I carried on with this routine until I was about 10.

When I was little I used to believe that when you flushed the toilet (ONLY THE ONE AT MY COUSINS HOUSE) this vampire-like monster would come up out of it and attack you... if you're not out of the bathroom by the time its done. So I would always hurry up and use the toilet, wash my hands, and THEN flush. One time my cousin caught me running out of the bathroom and she asked me what I was doing, and I told her that if I didn't, then the vampire-thing would eat me. She said she'd always believed the same thing. From then on, I knew I wasn't crazy, or alone in my fear of U-bend dwelling vampire-like creatures.

Then I realized that SHE was also crazy and that we both needed to grow up. (We were both only like 7.)

For some reason I would believe that If I didn't exit the bathroom before the toilet would stop flushing Freddy Kruger would kill me. So as soon as I flushed it I would wash my hands frantically and sprint out the door.

When I was like 4 me and my grandmother were in a bathroom at Kmart and when I flushed the toliet it overflowed and there was water all over the floor. Until I was like 10 I was scared to flush the toliet. ha

i remember .. when i was 4 years old my brother had told me that there was a blue water person hiding in the toilet just to make sure i asked my older sister(who is older than him) and she said it was true, they had planned it all along
i use the get my older sister to come with me and watch me because i got scared so much that the water person would grab my behind and pull me into the toilet

I had an older brother who watched MTV all the time when I was growing up in the early 80's. I saw a video with an alligator coming out of the toliet and it terrified me. I would use the potty and then run out as soon as I was done so the alligator wouldn't bite my booty.

i was CONVINCED there was a monster that would pop out the second i flushed it and grab me and pull me back in with him
that roaring noise you hear when the water is sucked down..that's him growling on his way to come and get you
so i used to wash my hands BEFORE flushing the toilet.

I used to beleive that if you flushed the toilet that it would explode and all the water would shoot out.

when i was little i only went to the bathroom at home and never at school cuz at school the toilets would automatically flush and i thought i would flush down with my poo. i was small and idk, up until 2nd grade, i really had to go and i was at school. i had to have a friend stand outside the door. when the toilet flushed, i RAN out of the stalls.
