i used to believe that when i was on the toilet a giant red crab would come and bite my bum. i was so scared that i would stand in the bathroom for up to 10 minutes watching for the crab to come.

When I was in 6th grade or so, my best friend told me about her cousin staying in this old shack one time and there being a snake in the toilet when she went to pee! After that I could never go to the bathroom at night in the dark again...I'd always have to flip the light on to peek and make sure there were no snakes. TO THIS DAY (I'm 18 now) I still can't even bear the thought of sitting down on the pot without looking in to make sure it's all clear.

When I was a little girl, I thought that a monster lived in the toilet. I was so scared when I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I thought that if I didn't run to my bed by time the toilet stopped running after I used it the monster would come and get me.

When I was younger I some how got the idea in my head that there was a ghost living upstairs somewhere, I never really figured out where, but whenever I flushed the toilet I would imagine it running down the stairs coming to get me. May be it was because our toilet was extremely loud and I thought it upset the ghost. But anyhow I would run into the kitchen, only about 8 feet away, Several times I slid on the floor and crashed into chairs, but once I was in the kitchen I knew I was safe from that ghost.

I used to believe if you flushed but still sat on the toilet for a while or didn't get up quick enough a hand would reach out and grab me. So after I was done I would run out the door screaming...my mom thought I was crazy!

When I was little(around 5),I was supposed to close the bathroom door after I came out of the bathroom so my dog wouldn't drink out of the toilet or anything. But I thought the door had to be closed so that the monster that sucks up the stuff in the toilet wouldn't suck me up too, and when I heard the flushing noise, I thought it was growling at me.

when i was little(about 5), i was petrified of the toilet. i was scared when i flushed it would grow teeth and eat me up. i would hold it all day to not have to go in the big scary toilet at my kindergarden. it got so bad that i peed myself once bcuz i couldnt help it. in my memory the teacher was pissed, but my mom says shes was fine....

Because the toilet made an horrific noise, and partly due to Look Who's Talking Too, i thought that if I stayed in the toilet when I flushed it, I would be eaten alive, so I washed my hands then pulled the chain and ran!
