I used to be so scared of flushing the toilet that before i would I would open the door, flush, then sprint down the hall to my parents so then the monster that was growling in the toilet couldn't eat me.

When I was seven my sister convinced me that there were trolls in the sewer, and that when you went to use the bathroom they would come up and go inside you7 eat all your organs out.And that they would come out the shower and take over your body and kill all the people that were black.

At elementary school, the toilets where really loud when you flushed them so I always thought that the big blue jeanie off of Aladin would pop out and get me so i would flush and run out!

My older bro was always playin trickes on me when I was 6.So one day I went to use the toilet
and I saw a dead hand(Fake dead hand).I ran screaming.....so untill I was 9 I always hated to use the toilet in fear of the hand grabing me by my penis and draging me to the toilet world.

my mom told me that when she was little, he brother told her that there was a genie in the toilet and that when you flush the genie would come out and get you. my mom believed him and would never flush. finally, her mom told her that she had to start flushing the toilet. then, to get away from the genie, she would flush the toilet, then run downstairs as fast as she could so the genie wouldn't get her.

I used to believe (and still kind of do for some weird reason) (i think i watched something on TV) that there are shrunken people in the toilet that watch you so i always try to be as quick as i can.

Once I had a dream that one of my preschool classmates had a horrible accident and had her head fixed onto a turkey's body. Then she would go in people's toilets and eat them up.

when i was in preschool i had no problem using toilets until one day i used one and it was clogged up. i screamed b/c i never saw that before and my teacher came in and picked me up. i told her the water woudnt go down and i was crying and she said it wasnt anything to be afraid of. then she kept flushing it and flushing it and it traumatized me for life lol. since that day, i would never use public bathrooms all the way up to age 15 for fear that they would overflow on me. After age 15 id use public restrooms, but only regular ones that dont have the automatic flush on them... to this day! if i absolutly have to use one, then i go into the large handicapt one where i can jump to the side when it flushes automatically! lol Dont want to be stuck in a bathroom and have nasty germy toilet water getting on me.. guess i never got over my fear completely

When I was little I saw the episode of The X Files where this weird man like creature lived in the sewers living off of people's feces so I was afraid to go to the bathroom until my mom told me it wasn't real.

When I was little, my mom used to watch the X-Files alot, and once I heard her and my aunt talking about an episode that involved a woman becoming pregnant with an alien or something like that. For some reason I associated this with the toilet, and I thought there was an alien living in the toilet that would come out and get me whenever I flushed. So when I was done, I would stand up, flush, and run like hell for fear that there would be a huge flash of green light and the alien would come and get me. I had an overactive imagination.

When little, after seeing the movie of IT the clown, I got this horrible fear to the toilet. I imagined that when sat down on the toilet, IT would stretch out his hand and pull me through the plumbing. Once, my sister had to make me company because I was so afraid of it, that I wanted not to go unless she came with me.

When I was 5-6, I saw the cover of a horror movie where a goblin was sitting on top of the toilet. From then on i could never flush the toilet because I was scared the goblin was going to come out once I flushed it so I would run out of the bathroom right after I was done.

When i was 5-11, i would be afraid that if i sat down too long, a giant spider-thing would pop me in the head, eat me, and sit me back on the toilet. I had PROBLEMS!
