When I was a kid I had the biggest fear of monsters hiding in the U-Bend of the toilet. I could never go to the loo without someone coming with me and flushing it before I could use it.

when my younger brother was little he saw the movie LEPRECON and for about 3 months he thought that when he went potty there was a leprecon outside the door ready to kill him.

i used to belive that when u flushed the toilet that it would overflow and then flood the whole bathroom and u would drownd..........

I used to believe that when you sit down in a porty potty there would be snakes that come and bite your butt. Now, when I use one (Rarely) I believe that someone will come and push it down. (Ever since I watched viva la bam and they pulled that stunt.)

When I was little, I used to watch this cartoon called "Cow and Chicken". Basically one episode delt with cooties( eww) and they said you can get cooties from the toilet seat. Ironically (spelling?), it wasn't the cow or the chicken that said that, it was the grown up lady..... Let's just say I waited to take a shower to go to the bathroom....

The building where I grew up had really old plumbing, and when the toilet flushed it was really loud. I was terrified of the Toilet Monster. After I was done, I would stick my fingers in my ears, flush the toilet with my foot, run as fast as I could to my room and jump on my bed, and I would be safe there.

Until I was about 5 I believed that snakes lived in the toilet at night. So I was afraid to go in there.

I was so scared of The Ring, when it came out. My friend was telling me about it. And she said something about a toilet that Samara came out of which was actually the well. For awhile i was scared to use the bathroom...

I'm afraid of toilets

When I had nightmares, I was afraid to go to the toilet - because I meant the monster/evil thing was in there. I meant it would drag me down and drown me.
I was afraid of the nightmares in a couple of days, before I forgot them. It was scary!

I used to think that when you flushed the toilet but Was still sitting on it a worm would slither up your butthole

When I was around seven or eight, I used to believe that if I stayed in the toilet for too long after I'd flushed, piranhas would come out of the toilet bowl and eat me. I think this idea came from a dream, which I remember clearly - I was in a boat with two strange men and a woman, none of whom I knew. Piranhas were swimming around under the boat, wearing pink bows on their heads and wellies on their fins. We dropped a cow in the water, and the piranhas ate it in two seconds. Then one of the men fell in the water and the piranhas ate him.
After this dream, I had a system worked out - the piranhas would come out from a reservoir, up the river, up a pipe and would eat me. I also believed that a dead cow would come out of the toilet bowl when the piranhas were having a day off, and kill me to avenge itself.
I still don't like to stay in the bathroom for too long.

when i was younger, i used to think that when i flushed my toilet, ( only the ones in my nana's house ) a ghost-like thing would come up from the drain . i used to run out of the bathroom as fast as i could.

&, i used to think that when i drained the bathtub, snakes would crawl out of it, so i refused to stay in the tub while the drain was open .

When i was a kid(about 6 or 7) I thought if you didnt get up before flushing the toilet, a monster would rise out of the toilet and eat you

I used to have to get back to my bedroom before the toilet finished flushing.

I used to believe untill I was seven that I can fall into the toilet while sittingand be flushed.I didn't realise that I was to big. Even my parents couldn't calm me.
