When I was little, I used to think that cars would read people's minds to figure out where they wanted to go, and that the blinker lights on the front dash was the car telling you where to turn, so you would get there. Then my mom showed me that there was a switch to make the blinkers go on, and I stopped believing that.

I used to believe that when my mother was driving, the car would tell her which direction to go, with the blinking arrow (the turn signal)...I never noticed that she'd turn the signal on.

I frequently saw my mom driving, and had a pretty good idea of how it was done. But, when we made turns and the turn signal would come on, I couldn't see how she did it-I thought the car could tell which way she wanted to turn by reading her mind and turned the signal on automatically.

When I was about 6 I used to get confused whenever cars indicated. I always used to wonder how the car knew where we were going!

I used to think that the signal lights on a car knew the way to the destination and changed whenever you were about to make a turn.

I used to believe that when you were in a car, the indicators were actually controlled by the car. So that would mean, if you said where you wanted to go, the car would take you there! HOW WEIRD AM I?

I used to think that we had a car which knew where we were going, because just before we turned left or right, a little arrow came up on the dashboard pointing the right way: I never noticed my dad flicking on the indicator lights!

When I was little I used to believe that cars knew exactly where you wanted to go, ant the blinkers were to give you directions. I think this stemed from my grandma letting me sit on her lap and steer for a while. I guess I didn't see her turn on the blinker!!!!

I used to believe that cars knew which way to turn and the turn signal came on by itself. Because I could never see my mom switch on the turn signal. So I thought the car was reading her mind and when she wanted to turn, the car knew and turned the signal on.

When I was little I always sat in the back seat of the car when my parents were driving. I never saw them turn the turning signal on so I thought that the car memorized where we were going or it read minds. Finally when I sat in the front seat I saw them turn the signal on, ifinally realized what was going on

When my mother turned on a turn signal, a little green arrow would flash on her display. I thought my car was smart and was telling my mother what direction to turn in.

I used to believe that cars could read your mind and knew whether you were going to turn left or right and thats how your indicators worked. I didnt realise they were controlled by the driver until I was about 11. Dense!!!!

When I was little I never noticed my mom set the turn signal, and I thought that the blinkers told her which way to go. When I excitedly asked her how the car knew, I was first skeptical and then disappointed by her turn signal demonstration.

I never realised that the driver operated the cars indicators. I just thought cars were really smart and automatically knew where you were going and by watching the indicators you'd know how to get there.
